1. General Refund Policy

Refund eligibility depends on the cancellation date, the type of service booked, and the cancellation policies of our hotels, transport providers, and other travel partners.

Refunds are processed only after cancellation has been confirmed by DK Tour And Travel.


2. Tour Package Refund Policy

Refunds for tour packages are processed according to the following schedule:

Cancellation 30 Days or More Before Departure

  • 100% refund of the tour amount.
  • Processing charges, payment gateway charges, and any non-refundable booking fees may be deducted if applicable.

Cancellation Between 15 and 29 Days Before Departure

  • 50% refund of the total package amount.
  • The remaining amount will be retained to cover advance payments made to hotels, transport providers, and other travel suppliers.

Cancellation Within 0 to 14 Days Before Departure

  • No refund will be provided.

This is because hotels, vehicles, guides, and other travel services are generally fully reserved and paid for in advance.


3. Non-Refundable Services

The following services are generally non-refundable once confirmed:

  • Flight Tickets
  • Train Tickets
  • Visa Charges
  • Travel Insurance
  • Monument Entry Tickets
  • Adventure Activities
  • Special Event Tickets
  • Permit Fees
  • Government Taxes
  • Convenience Fees
  • Payment Gateway Charges

4. Hotel Refunds

Hotel refunds are subject to the cancellation policies of the respective hotel.

If a hotel imposes cancellation charges, the same amount will be deducted from the refund payable.


5. Vehicle & Transportation Refunds

Vehicle bookings, including cabs, tempo travellers, buses, and airport transfers, may be non-refundable if the vehicle has already been reserved or dispatched.

Refunds, if applicable, will depend on the cancellation policy of the transport provider.


6. Customized Tour Packages

Customized or specially designed tour packages involve advance reservations and planning.

Cancellation charges may vary depending on the services booked, and additional deductions may apply.


7. No-Show Policy

If a traveler fails to arrive at the scheduled pickup point, hotel, airport, or railway station without prior notice, the booking will be treated as a No Show.

No refund will be issued in such cases.


8. Force Majeure

DK Tour And Travel shall not be liable for refunds arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Floods
  • Earthquakes
  • Landslides
  • Pandemic restrictions
  • Government regulations
  • Political unrest
  • Strikes
  • Road closures
  • Severe weather conditions

Where possible, we may offer an alternative travel date or credit voucher at our discretion.


9. Refund Processing Time

Once a refund request has been approved, refunds are generally processed within:

7–14 business days

The exact time depends on your payment method and banking institution.


10. Refund Method

Approved refunds will be credited using the original payment method whenever possible.

Depending on the payment mode, refunds may be processed through:

  • Bank Transfer
  • UPI
  • Original Credit/Debit Card
  • Original Payment Gateway

Cash refunds are generally not provided unless required by applicable law.


11. Modification of Bookings

Changes to travel dates, traveler names, hotels, or vehicles are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.

Any price difference or supplier-imposed fees must be paid by the customer.
